The Mudbrook steering paddle hugs the side of the canoe and responds quickly. It has a shape that is slightly longer in length than the average steering blade and is manufactured at 9 1/2 inches wide. ( Wider blade widths are available for special orders )
Whether you are a beginner or an old timer, the Mudbrook steering paddle should be able to take care of your needs. A good recommendation is to choose a steering blade about an inch longer than your regular paddle to account for the changing water level at the steersman's seat.
